Jimmy Stewart was an icon of the screen whose performances in IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE, MR. SMITH GOES TO WASHINGTON, REAR WINDOW, VERTIGO, and HARVEY amongst many others stand unmatched to this day. His affable, All-American, Everyman persona and naturalistic style of acting rendered the characters that he played often endearing, charming, and even aspirational.
