For this Second Thought episode about the dangers of Buy Now, Pay Later apps like Klarna, Affirm, and Afterpay, we decided to embrace the absurdity of the prospect of microfinancing fast food meals and build the video’s aesthetic entirely around it, integrating iPhone displays onto a table covered with burgers and fries and wrappers and all manner of fast food.
